did you know it's possible to die from a broken heart? they say when someone experiences an extremely emotional or traumatic event, it can trigger a surge of stress hormones which put you in short-term heart failure, which can kill you. its extremely unlikely, but very possible. she never believed the saying until she watched it happen. she was so used to picking herself up and brushing herself off, that she never stopped to consider the consequences. every time someone broke her a little more, she was slowly dying inside. all that bottled up pain was bound to overflow at some point. her time finally came, she gave in and stopped fighting it. she was too hurt to try anymore. her heart stopped, it shattered in fact, it was unfixable this time, too far gone. so now she was forced to watch from above as she was carried out in a body bag. all that suffering for nothing. she was forced to sit by and watch as those responsible shed a few fake tears, sat at her funeral and gave a bland speech about how much they missed her. that was a lie. she died a long time ago, there just wasn't any blood, so nobody noticed. if they didn't miss her when she was alive, why now? she knew the guilt was eating away at them for how they treated her. and she only wished she was there to tell them... that they weren't forgiven.
